I got a virus on my laptop, and it got so severe it is now unusable (without restoring the laptop). However, I was told of a wire that transfers my hdd contents to another hdd ( I simply plug one end into my laptop harddrive and the other end into the other computer or other hdd. Now, my question is, what steps do I take to ensure my music is not lost? I'm pretty sure I would transfer the iTunes program over to the other hdd, followed by all the folders my music is placed in? I know all the folders too, so that's not a problem.
Thanks.
