Transferring Itunes??

Im getting a new MBP soon, i currently have an imac with about 2,000 songs on my itunes. Is there any way of transferring the songs from my imac to my new laptop without burning them all on CDs? Thanks

If you're on the same network, you could just transfer them via Ethernet or Wifi.

External drive, copy the entire iTunes folder to the new machine.
