Transferring Photos from iPad to my Mac

Anyone else having problems transferring pics from their iPad to an older version of Mac OSX? I have a pretty new iPad Pro. Still have Mavericks on my Mac Pro (10.9.5) because I need support for some older apps.

It sure does for me. Never had a problem connecting (I have 10.5 iPad Pro and 2015 27" retina iMac) and it moves fairly quickly. I've only transferred around 50 pics at one time but it went quickly.
