Transferring photos/videos from someone else's phone to my icloud account

I recently went to a concert and took a bunch of photos and videos with my mother's iPhone 7. They got uploaded to her icloud account and are also locally on her phone. I have my own icloud account and an iPad Air 2. What is the best way to transfer all of these photos and videos (with all the metadata intact and in the exact same high quality) that they were taken from my mother's phone to my icloud account?

Apparently the answer was simple: AirDrop. It kept the quality and metadata from all the photos and videos.
