I have been lured into the iTunes store recently and have bought a handful of tracks. Now...I plan on buying a new powerbook in the next few weeks and selling my desktop 466 once i do. When I make this purchase, i plan on booting the laptop as a firewire target disk and backing up most of my files that way....then burn DVDs of what I don't want on the hard drive. These songs that I am purchasing from Apple--will I be able to simply transfer them over and back up on DVD as well, or is there something I should know beforehand (and before I download a bunch more).

Thanks!

Remember to deauthorize your computer before you sell or give it away. To deauthorize a computer:
1. Open iTunes.
2. Choose Advanced > Deauthorize Computer.
3. Select "Deauthorize Computer for Apple Account" and enter your Apple ID and password.

When you try to play them for the first time on your new computer, it will ask you for your Apple ID/Password. Type 'em in and you should be good to go.
