Translate camera stuck on Eng-Spa

Does anyone know how to change the language on the camera feature in the Translate app? For me it is set to English-Spanish and there seems to be no way to change it.

It looks exactly like this on mine too, you just have to tap very precisely on the language names, then a list shows up. If not, try to reboot.

Oh man I finally got it... but why on earth is the tap area so tiny? I have to tap randomly about 20 times before the menu finally pops up. Maybe it's because I'm on an iPad mini?

Oh yeah, possibly. I guess they never even tried it on the (very neglected) iPad Mini and just have a statically defined tap area size.
