Translate process running on Power PC vice Intel

What is the "translate" process and its using PowerPC instead of the Intel Binaries? I have opened nothing with rosetta?
 
Uh..what?

Translate is what Rosetta is called and you probably opened a PowerPC application and didn't know it. Or, actually, I believe that Rosetta is a required piece to start the computer as it was something that needed to be edited for OS X to work on PC's.
