This was a widget I used often! The More Widgets... button was also removed. Bug? Feature? Am I holding it wrong?

If they did indeed got rid of it you could probably move it over from a backup.
The Dashboard site is half broken and the site is no longer maintained so I can see why they removed the link. https://www.apple.com/downloads/dashboard/
There's a translate widget there but it's very ugly.

Both of those are really ugly! I was able to get it from a TM backup - thanks for the suggestion
After it installed it did not appear in the folder that I found it in in the backup. Strangeness again but it worked

Thanks so much. I went to use it on my new iMac only to find it wasn't there! Downloading from here was easier than trying to find it in a backup.
Thanks for this, I found it while searching for a fix after installing High Sierra on my iMac and MacBook Pro the other day.
