hey all, im using transmission obviously and ran into a interesting....thing today. i have it set on the turtle mode (speed limit) for 10 dl and 10 ul. when thats on it get s a solid 10 on both, but when i take the speed limit off the DL speed goes down to like 1.4 and ul goes to like 30+ any ideas?

My guess is you haven't set the cap on your non-turtle UL low enough.

When the limit is off, it's completely maxing out your outgoing connection, which in turn slows EVERYTHING else on that connection down--packet requests to other peers get held up and so your incoming data drops drastically. I'm assuming if you tried to do anything else at the same time it would also be dog-slow.

Use a speed tester or other method to determine what your ACTUAL outgoing bandwidth is, then set the max UL cap at least slightly lower than that, to allow headroom for other outgoing data.
