Transparency

    Is there a way to change the opacity or transparency of Applications? I can do this with Adium so that I can see a bit of whats in the bacground. Something like Vista.

    I don't think you really can do that in Mac OSX 10.4 but maybe there's a app somewhere around that can do that but it will only be running your computer slower...

    If you have shapeshifter then you can use this theme to get the effect that you want.

    I use InvisRay.

    I don't actually use it anymore but it is still installed on my system and works very well. Doesn't slow anything down in the slightest on my machine.

    Afloat is very good. I've used it ever since I got my Macbook.
