    Wouldn't you think that a clear mouse pad on a clear desk wouldn't work at ALL?

    a good laser mouse will work on a window as i do to peoples amusment all the time at work so i think its gonna work on a misty glass desk on a misty see through plastic mouse mat.

    the proper name for a see through mouse mat like in that picture is a "transclear mouse pad" i have one too, but i chewed it too much when i got stressed so its a bit broken now :p but you can buy them here

    Absolutely true. And the transparent ones always have some sort of opaqueness to them.

    "transclear mouse pad"
    "transparent mouse mat"

    kelkoo.co.uk = nothing
    amazon.co.uk = one glass one, so its no good, but its out of stock (not coming back type thing)
    google shops bah,

    nothing about, they have all vanished or been lost

    Ive found a few but as you said their out of stock, i'll keep an eye open though and send you a message if i find some. I was in Maplins the other day in Tottenham Court Road and saw some but the manager told me they only sold them in that particular store.
