hmmm it seems i have come across a very annoying issue on my macbook -
hopefully someone will be able to offer a good suggestion-

recently (no idea why) my macbook seems to be stuck in time. the menu bar clock shows the correct time however everywhere else the time is set at 19:08.

ie. all of my ical events
    time of last sync
    time preferences.

did anyone ever watch the film 23?
anyway i have no idea why, and ical announcing all my events at 19:08 every night is a bit awkward -

maybe there is a preference or com.apple file i can delete? not sure.
    any help appreciated :) thanks

System Preferences -> Date & time.

Change to a 12 hour clock.
