Trash box empty sound gone

A couple of odd things have happened today - my Mail inbox message arrival time display has disappeared, and the sound made when you empty the Trash.

Anyone know where my trash sound went? Thanks. (iTunes is working, the iCal alert sounds are working okay...)

EDIT: Rebooted and the sounds back. Strange.

Odd.

Similar thing happened to me once except the sounds got mixed up so when I got a new email I would get the trash sound, emptying the trash would have an alert sound etc. but it fixed itself on reboot.
