Trash Freezes when I try to Delete large Folders

Hi,

Folder location is on Windows Server 2003
Empty folders no problem,large are the ones give trouble.
Mac OS X
It freezes my trash and I cannot cancel the job.
Will have to reboot every time.

Any ideas?
