Trash will not empty

Deleted some apps last night on my MBP and figured it would take awhile so I just left it on. Checked today and it's still emptying. I can't log out nor can I restart or power off my computer. Here is a picture of my screen below. Tried deleted the stuff through finder and even app deleter to no avail. Any suggestions? Any help is appreciated!

You can always power off your Mac by pressing and holding the power button until it goes off. It usually takes 5-10 seconds.

Tried deleted the stuff through finder and even app deleter to no avail.
