So in several weeks I will be traveling in the UK and Europe for 3 months with a new ATV4K. I have previously traveled extensively all over the world with my ATV4 which worked great, essentially plug and play for audio and video settings.
My question is that after seeing so many threads about the best audio and video settings based on the type of TV used, will I have tweak the audio and video settings on the ATV4K each time when I am possibly using a different TV in a hotel, possibly twice a week. Mind you, changing any various settings on the TV's I will be using will be almost impossible.
Like I said, the ATV4 "just worked" audio and video setting wise. I have seen so many threads about brand or even model specific setting and I wonder if there are just some set it and forget it settings to have good audio and PQ without going crazy...

Thanks!

Is it safe to assume you’ll be using 1080p TVs the vast majority of the time?

I think you would be safe if you set the ATV to SDR, match frame rate on, quick start off (guarantees 1080p content)

These days, almost all the hotels I stay in have switched over to modern LG or Samsung TV's; although for some reason, some think these Bang and Olfsen TV's, where the bottom third of the TV is a speaker and thus making the TV a wee bit bigger than my computer... are a good ideas for a TV for a hotel room.NOT.

Thanks for the tips. Like I said, I have used the ATV4 easily since the first day it came out, video and audio settings wise and just want to make it as easy as possible to use the ATV4k without too much BS...
