treadmill vs ipod touch = 1-0
expensive 2nd day of gym membership so far this year!
It's morbidly beautiful.
Maybe Apple can be convinced it was a manufacturing defect?
It looks like the treadmill properly bent it, did it try taking it under the track.
Well there's a good reason to keep the safety clip on...better the ipod than your foot!
Seriously, that's CRAZY! Care to give details on how that went down?
yeh you know how rubber and glass stick together really well?
well imagine a *THUMP* and waving the ipod goodbye as it dissapears down the gap only to appear at the other end like this..
i still finished the last 1k off first before i stopped !
Thats dedication. And good for you taking this so well. Thanks for sharing the destruction.
Wow, I love it! Hope you had some sort of insurance for it (AMEX/VISA/Home Possession Insurance etc.) R.I.P. iPod Touch!
Sorry for the loss xippster, but it does look cool.
Now that's dedication.
You need this:
Just got back from the gym. Those are scary pictures. You show good reason for Touch protection.
I have my Touch in the Otterbox Defender and I also purchased the armband for the gym. Glad I did. It may not look pretty, but I don't worry about it while I exercise.
Sorry for your loss.
WHat speed were you running at!
so the ipod touch is toooo thin in your opinion for the gym&treadmill!!
very distressing to see the photos.
Damn, touch got owned...
go to an apple store and explain what happened
they may want it for some testing
cause people dropped their iPhone in the first 3 days and got new ones
No problem, that'll buff right out.
i have the solution: duct tape.
that battery is huge compared to others in iPods
so theres one way to open up a touch.
But will it blend? That is the question
sorry for your loss, but as others have said, its strangely beautiful.....
You should submit those pics to Digg, it would be a big hit.
I still don't have the courage to run with my iPhone. After seeing these photos, I'm not sure I ever will.
Looks like it's been done.
Thats another way to make and armband for the ipod touch.
