I wonder if the 13 Mini can add battery life, like rumors are stating, if that will help Mini sales at all.

But using the 12 Mini for a bit now, I can totally see how the majority of the population who consumes a ton on their phones would *not* like the experience as much, as it does tend to feel a bit squeezed and the default text size is a bit small. I absolutely love the size, but don't consume much media on my phone. Because of that, battery life has been acceptable to me as well. But in this day and age, I can see how that's a niche crowd for sure.
I've had the opposite experience. Every time I pick up my wife's phone (an iPhone 11) it feels comically large compared to my 12 mini.

AoD ( Always on Display ) coming to the 13 Pro's?

Yeah the slightly narrower notch is nice, as the current notch is hideous and just ridiculous looking in 2021.

120hz Pro Motion will be a very welcomed upgrade

Bigger batteries and a thicker phone is always nice to see.

My plan is to go from 11ProMax to 11ProMax and from AW4 to AW4, yes, no typos…
Unless, Apple surprises with some new health features for AW or better zoom on iPhone…

Oh me too. Once you're used to holding that smaller form factor, something the size of the 11 (my wife also has) feels crazy.

My kids have 8's with solid cases on them, and even those feel too big to me, now.

This is going to be hard to pass up for me. I absolutely love that smoothness on the latest Samsung phones. iOS is very smooth on its own, so maybe the change won't be as drastic. But it's nice for sure, and once you've experienced it, it's easier to miss it.

The “mini” size is for those who have a life outside of staring at a phone 24/7. So only 5-10% of the current population 🤣

There's something sad about so many people readying themselves to buy a product they know little about, especially when they're coming from iPhone 12's/AW series 6.

There are some people who actually like the smaller form factor. ...its strange but true. But it really is a smaller percentage of users. Then there's people who rather just save a few bucks.

I think it’s finally time to upgrade from my 6S. Ive had it since it was released. I’m not looking forward to spending $1,400.

Wait ...

I get 2x 6.1" models for iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro ...
but 2x 6.7" models for iPhone 14 Max and ???

Still Apple did NOT advertise the Mini beyond introduction last year ... even across all their sites its an addendum.
The iPhone mini will be re-branded as an iPhone SE in two years with upgraded internals. I'm guessing.
re-branded yes.
updated internals lol ... maybe the OLED screen will debut on the SE, the cpu yes, but FaceID unsure as TouchID isn't just preferences, some with anxiety/fidget needs use it for calming effect that the assisted touch doesn't quite give without looking at it.

The funny thing is even if they add all these things all it does is catch them up to 2019. I remember when the iPhone X came out and we finally got the OLED display everyone had been asking for for years, and Apple mentioned something about how they planned to give it some unique oled exclusive features in future updates and then never did. AOD is beyond overdue, but I’ll be very surprised if Apple actually brings it out.

Each of the SE models so far had an old design and updated internals

:oops: That feeling when Tim says "With our new iPhone, We can't wait to see what our customers do with it."

Well, you don’t need to be a TrendForce to know that the new iPhones will have an A15 chip.

As for mini’s “underwhelming” 10%, this is actually a mighty lot of phones, considering they are still selling 12 minis. I certainly enjoy mine and will keep on using it for as long as I can.

And whatever happened to those AirPods 3? I was personally more excited about them than anything else announced. 🤷🏻‍♂️
