Trending Threads - feedback

Just wanted to get feedback from people about the trending threads view of the forum. Are people using it? Do you like it? Any feedback would be helpful.

Hmm, it might help to append a poll to this thread.

I've never used the trending threads view and didn't know where it was until I looked for it (not to say it's hard to find).

It seems like the functionality is sort of made redundant by the Latest Posts sidebar and the Forum Spy.

It’s not a feature I ever use. I’ve clicked on it once or twice over the years and that’s about it.

Didn't know it was a thing. This is what i see:

New Posts

• Watched Threads

• Watched Forums

• Mark Forums Read

• WikiPosts

• History

• Spy

• Support

Lol. Ya we never really publicized it but people did complain when it broke.

That's actually one of the main views I use. Lol. The 'Trending' and 'New' are the ones I use most frequently when I'm browsing at work and not working. Hahaha

I don't believe I have ever once used it in all the years I have used the forums.

I do often see something in the latest replies sidebar that interests me and draws me into a forum thread.

Me neither. I also almost never click on forums, just use new posts. I had to go searching how to find this again.

I've been here for about a decade and I didn't know about it. Then again the site was slow back in the vB days. I think I've used the Spy feature less than 5 times overall. That ought to go, too.

Don’t recall ever using it. I typically go directly to forums that interest me, my notifications, or “New Posts.”

I’m another who doesn’t use it. Generally I use
Watched threads.
Check the sub forums I use the most.
New posts.
And the front page of course.
