Skinny jeans are a fashion don't. They're even worse on guys with beer guts.

How about fitted, slim jeans? I prefer slim jeans over relaxed fit.

What I hate is kids who wear skinny jeans that are about 5 or 6 sizes too small vertically...such that they show off their ugly boxers to the whole world. I think they do that so that they don't crush their manhood though. Still not excusable.

Facebook. I really hate how people integrate it into their lives to an unhealthy point.

i'm getting tired of seeing buttons for fb all over the dam internet. i dont use the site and it shouldnt follow me around everywhere

How about when people tell you online that "your stupid"?

or they're going too do something? seriously, i see it.

The Tea Party.

i'm tired of any person who tries to be ignorant on purpose. seems like its the trend for rednecks/republicans/country singers/etc to try and be dumber than the next one. seriously try and do something in your life.

and finally, my great pet peeve for 2010 would be the introduction and further abuse of the phrase "going forward." who the fu%k thought that sounded clever? now you hear it everywhere it makes me cringe.

I think half the reason I hate Toyota is their "Moving Forward" slogan. :D Most overused phrase ever.

This may not be as applicable to you guys but this bugs the crap out of me...

rolling_carts_for_teachers.jpg

I'm a teacher--and I see these other teachers hauling around these hideous carts...home and back to school every day. But anytime I ask them, they never get anything done at the house and so they are wheeling it around for no reason. It seems after a while, you'd just stop taking it home. But no, they keep on trucking. Looks ridiculous.

People who have a problem with what others are wearing. Some people really don't care, and it doesn't matter all that much at the end of the day.

Same. There are a lot of style trends I don't particularly care for but to be honest it just doesn't matter. It bothers me much more to see how much energy people spend complaining about what others are wearing. It's just too much negativity.

College kids whose parents brought them up to think everything they have to say is important.

It kinda reminds me of that IM style back in the 90s when people used programs to make their text rainbow colored.

Also:

Websites that use so much scripting you can't get a URL and are greeted by the front page if you accidentally hit refresh.

Flash advertising

Mac apps wanting to run in full screen mode (particularly on a 2560x1440 screen)

vBulletin boards with little to no theming that magically become super-popular for no particular reason. Oh wait, that's not a trend, it's the norm. :(

On YouTube, if people post comments like "xxx people suck / are dumb / are Justin Bieber fans" and people begging for thumbs ups.

I guess when I'm rolling my eyes at people trying to be all trendy and different, it's not because it bothers me what they are wearing...it's because I feel bad for people who think that unless they are as different and unique as possible, that they are somehow not worth anything. I went to a concert a few months ago, and there was a guy in the middle of the crowd in a penguin suit. And he was doing whatever he could to get people to look at him and interact with him...to the point of just walking up to people and pointing to himself like "Yeah, man! I wore the penguin suit! What up?"

It's the excessive need for individualism and attention in people that bothers me more than anything. Just be who you are instead of trying to create a persona.

Maybe it's because I'm just a t-shirt and jeans and Merrells-shoes type of guy who doesn't really give a crap about what I'm wearing. I had to go pick up some clothes a few weeks ago after our hotel had bedbugs and we were told to wash everything. The guy I was with decided on Macy's and I was a fish out of water...I just don't clothes shop. I was just wandering around wondering who on earth would spend $60 on a t-shirt.

Any post with a smilie in it. I know when you are kidding. I know when you are sarcastic. If others don't, you don't look clever adding one, you look like you are eight years old.

Edit: I hate people who post +1 and nothing else! I hate people who post cool story bro! I hate people who ask why did you post that, who cares? If you don't care, don't read it and don't post how you don't care; I don't care that you don't care.

I agree with the above. I can't stand it when people create huge run on sentences. I hate reading crap on forums that's written by people that write like they never went through any type of school, EVER. It really makes me wonder what these people do with their lives.
