So I tried on my wives AW and it’s definitely smaller but I kinda liked the “compactness” of it. Im thinking I may go 41mm instead of the 45mm or maybe I’m just having a moment. Pics for reference (left is 45 right is 41)

Whats your wrist size? Guessing from the images its around 165-170mm. Thats the inbetween spot where you can go both and theyd both look fine. Just depends on your needs.

Mines 41 and my wrist is 170mm. I just prefer a slightly smaller watch that actually looks like a watch versus a gadget. Could also pull off the 45 but i mainly use it for fitness/sleep so appreciate a smaller size. However is right on the border, if the watch was any smaller id get the large

I like her 41mm Series 7 too. I’m personally wearing a 44m Series 6. It’s not too big for me but I find myself liking the 41mm S7 quite a lot. Remember the series 3 or below were 42mm only for the big size?

I have a 7.25in / 184mm wrist, which I always thought was small (or at the very least, medium), but apparently all info I keep reading says I should go for a 45mm AW instead of the 41mm case. I wonder how they look on a wrist that’s my size and if the 41mm would look too small.

People put too much weight into the wrist circumference. What it looks like is mostly dependent on how wide the wrist is at the top.

I'm in the same boat. Both sizes look absolutely fine on me. I'm always debating with myself which one I like more. ? Both have their advantages.

In my opinion that’s too big. I have small wrists too. That’s why I wear the 41mm. Looks and feels better.
yeah, i was afraid of that too. came from the 44mm S6 and have a lot of bands for that size so not sure if i want to downsize.

Honestly - it is ONE millimeter and it does not look too big. What could be irritating: the bigger screen and that particular watchface makes it look bigger. Try it with another face and look at it again.
Furthermore: I have quite some experience with big mechanical watches (around 44mm), wich I regarded as too big for my small wrist. Very much like them now.

Word. you could have a 185mm wrist but its really 'round' so large watches would look a bit off. Or a 170mm wrist but its very flat forearm and the watch would fit perfectly. Im the latter, still went for 41
