So how was Procreate?
Not part of the demo package. :( I tried Notes, Adobe stuff and Paper by 53 and concur with the other posts in this thread.

The Notes app sold me on the possibilities of the pencil, while the other apps have some work to do.

I think Apple would do a great service by releasing the pencil engine code used in the Notes app.

This is the first video I've seen with an actual artist showing what the pencil can do. I've been watching it on repeat waiting for my pencil order status to change.

Wow, i'm blown away by how he got quite a few different shades out of that pencil, presumably just with the pressure sensitivity and tilt as i didn't notice him changing the colour.

That video totally sold me on the Pro. It's the type of illustration I do. And now I can do that with ease digitally. I'll wait patiently until the PRO and Pencil are readily available.

I went into the Apple store yesterday and tested the Apple pencil. It was perfect in Apple notes. It had a little lag in Adobe apps, and in paper. They did not have procreate to try. I then went and tested my iPad pro at home with the 53 paper app and their own Bluetooth pencil. It's significantly laggy in all apps comparatively. It's not too bad in Apple notes, but the 53 Pencil just isn't that good. I can tell you that this Apple device, the pencil, is worth every penny when it comes out. It is that good. Probably about as good as a Wacom middle road tablet.
