Trim and Garbage collection

So i read an article on how to enable TRIM on a non apple ssd. But i said not to do it when your ssd has garbage collection. How do I check if I have it or not, cause I can't find it anywhere.
I have an OCZ Agility 2 240 GB.

The OCZ Agility 2 uses a Sandforce controller that has Garbage collection built in.
