Assuming you've backed everything up with time machine etc I'd just reinstall everything and avoid trim in the future.

I've installed an 850 pro in my MBP earlier in the month, and haven't touched trim purely because of the problems it can cause - I'd play it safe and avoid until Apple eventually adds support in the future OS (hopefully 10.11)

When Yosemite came out, the info at that link was enough for me to decide to reinstall Yosemite and then NOT enable Trim Enabler. The risk wasn't worth the perceived reward.

Yes but it wasn't a problem with my 840 pro ever. of course i have back up, i reinstalled yosemite and its all good now. I do miss trim though apple should fix it.
