Trip to the Apple Store tomo for an exchange..

I bought my iPhone 4 a little under two weeks ago. So far I experienced: proximity sensor issue, antennae issue, mediocre battery, strange echo in headphones, call drops, and loose home and lock buttons.

If I brought it to the Genius Bar with the original box and all its accessories could I get it swapped for a brand new boxed iPhone 4?
 
Nope, the only way they will do that is if you return your phone and the waited a few days for your account to reset to allow you to upgrade again.
 
How long does it take to get upgrade eligibility back then? It wouldn't be possible to return it and buy another on the spot correct?
 
oh ok great thanks! I wish they would just exchange the damn phone though. They are very annoying as they didn't believe the headphone issue. Also for some reason the iPhone freezes a lot. Could this be from my backup? Never froze with my 3Gs though..

Not that this a solution, but iOS 4.1 is rumored to begin released soon, maybe this update could fix many of your issues.
 
Yes but are the current replacement iPhones new ones? I'd hate to have paid $400 for a refurb tho..
 
I was at the apple store for some work on my MacBook, and the lady next to me had an iPhone 4 that was getting exchanged for some reason... I saw the genius pull out a brand new iPhone 4 box (retail box) and swapped them. The genius kept the retail box because she didn't have her iPhone 4's box. This is what I saw. I also saw something with a credit card. So maybe she was returning and exchanging...I don't know. Lol
