Hello,

I want to triple monitor my MacBook Pro that I purchased in July of 2010. Specs for my notebook are below. I currently have an external monitor hooked up through the miniDV port, but I wanted to see if it was possible to add a second external monitor.

Does anyone know of any products that utilize USB, Firewire, or anything like that? I am not a computer guy, but I'm pretty sure MacBook Pro video cards don't support more than one external monitor. Has anyone used any products that can accomplish it?

Specs:
MacBook Pro 15"
Purchased July 2010
OS X Version 10.6.4
2.66 GHz Intel Core i7
8GB Memory, 1067 MHz DDR3

Thanks,

E

You can use a USB -> DVI adapter. It won't run nearly as smoothly as the display from your miniDP, but it's good for things that aren't video or fast moving.
