iPad mini tripod adapter?

do they make an adapter to fit on the end of camera tripods? the screw in type

I know they make full ipad tripods, but I already have a camera tripod for my canon DSLR and I was wondering if I could also use it to make movies.

I ordered this yesterday from sweetwater. It does mount several ways including via tripod.
It will accommodate any tablet that includes the full-size iPad and the mini.

I copy my music to the iPad and then use the iPad during performances. I'm going use the music stand adapter.
