Trivial - but soooooo annoying.

Not important in the grand scheme of things, but my God, it's one of those little things that bug the hell out of me. I know I can't complain because we're only in the 2nd iteration of IOS 17, but anyway, I digress.............

When I go into settings, my Apple ID picture at the top of the screen is always grey with just my initials showing instead of my Apple ID picture. If I come out of settings and go back in, more often than not, my Apple ID picture will show. Reboot, refresh, log in, log out, hard reboot, change ID pic - nothing works. I was thinking of going back to IOS 16, but my AWU is also on IOS watch 10 and can't go back. Will my watch pair if my IPPM is on IOS 17 and my AWU on watch 10?

So many questions! I 'm going back to bed. It's all too much.

The lack of profile photo in iCloud settings is a beta bug. Don't worry - it will likely be fixed in the next beta.

What has worked for me to fix it in the short term is to reboot, wait until I have internet again, then tap on my name in settings and then back out to the main page. Then the photo will appear.

Because you just contemplated going back to iOS 16 on the basis of a small visual glitch..?

I was thinking of going back to IOS 16, but my AWU is also on IOS watch 10 and can't go back.

Whilst on the subject of small but so annoying, I would love for them to get rid of the '.' next to the space bar when typing in the url field. Who types in web addresses these days? And if you do, then just press '123' and add the '.' yourself.

Try changing your Contact picture to it. Be sure to disable contact pic sharing beforehand if you don’t want others to see it.

Because you're clearly talking about a personal device that is not being used for development purposes.
