In the process of transfering files and apps from my old G5 to my new MacPro I had 2 user accounts that were identical on G5 and MP.
Migration Assistant complained about that and I created a new account on the MP.
I also put the hard disks from my G5 into my MP and so I had a problem with the folders on the drives linked to the "old" user account of my G5.
So I wanted to correct this by choosing the drive > Get Info > Add my new user account.
But as I choose the plus (+) sign in the bottom of the screen the Get Info screen quits suddenly...I guess this is a bug...
Are there any other ways to accomplish what I want, probably through Terminal (I'm not a Unix expert 😉)
