Hi All -

I'm going to be learning PHP and MySQL so I wanted to enable Apache and PHP on my mac.

I get the "It works!" message when typing in "localhost" to my address bar - is that what is supposed to happen?

I enabled web sharing in my system preferences.

Then, as I was following this guide, I got stuck on step 10 as I could not find the specified line of code (even after using Find).

I tried loading a test file called "info.php" that I have in my username/Sites/ that just contains the following code: <?php phpinfo(); ?>, but instead of giving me information regarding my version of Apache, it just shows the code in plain text at the top of the page. However, the book I'm following has a picture that tells much more about the software on the computer.

Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated!
