trouble in deleting duplicate pics in iphoto

Dear All, I duplicated all pics in my iphoto by accident. I selected all pics and clicked the button "duplicate" under menu "photo". thousands of pics were created a duplicate ones. that is nightmare.

Could somebody know how to easily delete all duplicated pics at one time??
or other efficient way except deleting one after another?

Use Automator to create a task which eliminates all pictures with a creation date of the day you made your accidental click. That will delete all duplicates.
