Hi all... I'm trying to get my brand new MBP to run windows... but here's the problem..

I followed the instructions to the point where I put the windows disk in and reboot the computer. When it does, it goes to this dos screen and waits for me to do something. I guess it wants me to run the executable that installs windows. The problem is, at that point, it does not recognize any input device... not even my MBP's keyboard... Am I missing something?

One suspition is the windows disk. I this is a copy I downloaded from my school.. (we all get free windows xp and vista.. 😛) I burnt it to a disk using nero and made it "bootable". Could this be the problem? If so, is there another way to make this disk bootable?

Thanks in advance!!

I suggest trying to use ISORecorder to burn the disk image or Disk Utility in OS X.

The Windows XP installer is text based. It's not that scary if you read.
