iPhone trouble jailbreaking 8.4

just updated my iphone 6 plus to 8.4 today and i'm having trouble jailbreaking. I'm using the version of taig, but i keep getting an error on the splash screen before even starting the the jb process. It's saying "Apple driver hasnt been found, please download and install itunes" itunes is installed, and ive tried on two different computers. Anyone else run into this? any suggestions?

Have you tried downgrading iTunes to 12.1?

What I did was just download this driver:

Installed it over my current iTunes (It's 12.1.X i believe) and I JB my iPhone and iPad without trouble (when the iOS 8.3 JB came out, I had to do downgrade to iTunes 12.0.1 but with 8.4 JB, I was successfully able to do with the latest iTunes and this download)

Set the VM image to independent of your Mac, do a restore as new. As soon as I restored as new and had the external device set to be recognized and picked up by the vm JB went smooth as hell
