I'm trying to use my Playstation 3 controller wirelessly on my Mac. I tried this a while back, and can't remember if it was to any avail.
Through my research, it appears a pairing assistant is supposed to pop up after the controller's USB is unplugged, where a pin number or code must be entered. This does not happen, though I do have a vague recollection of this happening when I tried it a while ago.
Another thing; I can't seem to get the controller off of my Bluetooth device list. Pressing 'Disconnect' in the gear does nothing. Pressing the minus button changes it from 'Configured: Yes' to 'Configured: No' but doesn't disconnect it or remove it. Turning Bluetooth off entirely doesn't even disconnect it, but my other Bluetooth devices DO get disconnected.
The controller works when I use the USB.
I'm on Mac OS X Version 10.7.5. Using iMac mid 2011.
Thanks.
