Trouble Reading DVD's

So from time to time, my MBP C2D won't read a DVD, it'll just pop the thing right back out. Sometimes it'll take after a couple of tries, but other times nothing seems to work. Anyone know why, or have a similar problem?

Does it only happen with that DVD, or it with several DVDs (< notice, no apostrophe)
