Trouble renaming events in iPhoto

When I go to the event and try to rename it, it does not allow me. I was able to do this a while ago. I get the white box, around the event name but can not edit it. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

Did you ever fix this? I know what you have to do, I just don't want to type it out and then you say you already fixed it. 🙄

i was having trouble too. I then started clicking the event, then clicking the bottom left hand side info on the word name, then pressed tab to make it highlight the text to type.

works for me

I am unable to change the name of any event. When I click it there is a change line that opens, but it is not quite all visible. And it will not allow me to change any name.

What is the issue and is there a fix. Am I headed to the delight of APPLECARE or In-Genius bar?

Individual events. I create one, load photos, and try to rename, no way. Cannot rename any of them. At least according to instructions in iPhoto.

Here ya go:

1)open spotlight and search for "helveticaNeue.dfont"
2)open up the font file in Font Book, and click install
3)restart!

That should work. If not, let me know. 🙂

I search with spotlight and cannot find the font. I looked on my install disks and it is not there either.. .where do I get it?
