Trouble Scanning with HP Photosmart C4280

My new HP Photosmart C4280 all in one printer seemed to be working perfect... until I tried scanning.

I really need to use the scanner as soon as possible for a job application, but every time I scan something, it tells me that the USB is not properly attached... but it still prints directly from any program, so the USB must be fine.

Any suggestions???

PS - I use an iMac with Leopard.

I have this same printer and had the same issue. Go to the HP site and download the newest drivers for this model and install.

You might also need to download the Device Manager that HP provides.

yeah I cant remember off the top of my head if its included in this download or not. Its the one from Feb '08
