Trouble setting up cydia on iPhone 2g

Iphone 2g on 3.1.2

Everytime i first open up cydia it ask the usual User, Hacker, no filter, i choose user then i get this error pop up

after i close it it just says "loading data" and cydia closes. When I relaunch cydia it comes up "Loading Data" and cydia closes. Ive tried blackra1n and pwnage tool and get the same result.

Any ideas on how i can fix this?

Nevermind i just fixed it.

I used redsn0w 0.9.2 and and just reinstalled cydia from that and it seemed to fix the problem.
