Just got my macbook pro and I'm trying to set up the mail.
I've gone onto my ISP and got all the settings and I can receive mail but when I try to send I just get a spinning wheel. I've confirmed the setting on my current PC laptop and that's all ok (can send and receive).
I've tried setting it up as a POP account and a IMAP account - no luck with either. For some reason the SMTP keeps showing as "offline".😕
Anyone got any suggestions please?
