Trouble typing text in emails

I no longer am able to type a message in new emails...I can type email addresses and subject matter but the keyboard disappears when I try to type a message....I'm sure it's a simple fix!

Try turning it off then back on.

HOld the power button on the top until it says slide to turn off, then turn it back on.

That normally will clear any oddities.
