Trouble unlocking Mac after watchOs 7

I upgraded my Apple Watch 3 yesterday to the new Watch OS, now I can't use it to unlock my iMac. It says "Unable to communicate." I've already tried unpairing the watch and repairing it. I've tried toggling on/off Handoff. Anyone else having trouble?

A lot of people having this problem. This solution worked for me:

I've finally fixed it! I found a bunch of errors related to "AutoUnlock" in the Console that was hinting to me that there was some invalid state on my Mac with keys and plists not being reset properly. After clearing/resetting them, I can now successfully pair my watchOS 7 Series 3 to macOS...
