I have a Sony 32" flat panel LCD TV that I want to use as an auxillary display with my mac pro (NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT 256MB graphics card). The TV has VGA input but no DVI.

The TV works fine as a second display with my 15" MacBook Pro when I plug it into the DVI output using the DVI -> VGA adapter...

However, with my Mac Pro, I get no signal to the TV. The TV shows up in my display preferences as "SONY TV" and I have tried setting it to every available resolution listed. Still no signal. I tried DisplayConfigX, same thing...It recognizes the TV, but no signal.

Any ideas?

I've done both of those things. I'm on the PC input and I've hit detect displays a million times.
