trouble viewing MMS with MySMS app

I bought the MySMS app through Cydia and I have some trouble with MMS.

When they arrive, I see the preview on my home screen, but once I open MySMS, the message appears blank and I have to go and open the default sms app to view / save the picture that has been sent to me.

Is that the normal behaviour for MySMS? If it is that is pretty sucky and I feel like I've wasted my $$

Does the stock Apple Messages app work correctly on your phone ?

It does... but it lacks a few features that I like eg templates, char count, drafts, deleting of individual messages to name a few..

I think they're working on an update to fix the MMS problem.
At the moment it doesnt display it properly.
