Prior to installing Win7 on my MBP 17 (I had Vista x64 on previously), my clamshell mode worked perfectly on my external 27" monitor. Now, when I close the lid, the external screen goes dark and none of the devices (Keyboard and mice) will wake it; yes, I have all the devices set to be able to power up the book.
So, any ideas out there? I searched clamshell mode, but mostly found issues on worries about overheating. I run Revit, a 3D modeler, on the Win side and it does get pretty warm, but it also kicks but over my friend's supposedly "equal" PC🙂
