"Trouble with iPad after iOS 5 install"

I recently upgraded to ios 5 on my original iPad, now it seems to lockup, freeze, and close apps while in use? Is anyone else having any of these problems? 😕

Try setting up as a new iPad.

Yeah definitely try to restore to factory, then restore your contents.

I was worried about that as well when I was upgrading our Original iPad from 4.2.1 to iOS5. Luckily, there were no changes and in fact I think Safari is slightly quicker than before.

Is this an iPad or an iPad2?

Personally, I have been having the exact same problem, since upgrading, safari always closes on me.

Yes. Same problems here, mostly with Music app and toggling between showing all albums. Same problems with Safari arbitrarily closing for no apparent reason. Overall, iOS 5 has some great new features, but seems much less stable and temperamental.

Good news I set up an appointment @ the genius bar had them wipe it clean and reinstall the iOS now it seems to work fine, although I haven't played any games yet! But I'm staying positive. Thanks Again
