Hello,

I am hoping someone will have an answer to this problem. I have a Macbook Pro running Windows 8 through Parallels 8. On the mac, the Microsoft Lync works great. However, on Windows 8 using Microsoft Lync 2013, the only thing that does not work is the Microphone. The strange thing is that Lync on Mac, it does.

I have checked the device manager, made sure the settings are correct and the configurations are correct.

How do I get it to pick up the microphone? It does video perfect....without the voice.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Jon D Jones

It won't. Lync wants direct access to the Mic and the virtual layer isn't supporting it. It may in Windows 7, as keep in mind Apple officially in both bootcamp and VM doesn't support Win8 yet on it's hardware.
