I have 3 items in software update that are downloaded and ready to install:

Brother Printer Drivers update v 1.1
Migration and DVD/CD Sharing update v 1.1
Security update 2008-007 v 1.0

Problem is that when i click install 3 items, my computer restarts and stops about 2% of the way through with the message "configuring".

The only way that I get out of this is to hold down the power button to regain control of my computer.

I was wondering what advice you guys could give me on what I should do? Should I just wait until the next version of each comes out and see what happens when i install that?

Thanks in advance

edit: OS X 10.5.5 with all other updates done, also its a Macbook.

I haven't had any issues with Software update, but can you try installing one at a time?
