Face recognition stopped working recently in my iPhone 13mini - the only change was an upgrade to ioS 26.4
I've followed all the usual advice - anyone else experienced this?
Thanks
Jean

It is quite fiddly to get into Diagnostics mode. I checked the Face ID which passed but curiously it reckoned that the IoS was not up to date - Apparently I need to move to 26.4.1 - I have Auto Updates "on" but that update wasn't picked up. Thanks for the advice! It has just finished updating and rebooted but I am still being asked to "Move iPhone a little lower". So maybe the camera needs repair - all is crystal clean.

It is disappointing because Back Market put a new camera in before I bought the phone.
I think it is too much of a coincidence that this started after i went up to IoS 26.4 from IoS 26.3
It would be really good to know if anyone else has experience the same.
In any case I'll go to my iPhone specialist and see if he can get hold of a front camera.

However.... When I switch to "selfie" mode the camera focuses instantly.
When I am trying to set up Face ID the small green range-finder? lights up and is clean.
I think it is a software issue which is why I am hoping to hear from others.
