I'm NOT trying to run two minidisplay port monitors at the same time. I'm looking for a simple box that I can hook up both adapters, one for projector and one for my monitor that will allow me not to have to switch cables each time I want to switch to the monitor or projector. Similar to the old boxes we used to use for RCA inputs on a that only had one input source. Click/Push/Switch button for desired input.

Thanks

that is simply a splitter looking for a switch. I know that this would work
http://www.monoprice.com/products/p...id=10106&cs_id=1010601&p_id=54&seq=1&format=2

but would that would require running mini display to vga then work.

The first you linked would be perfect and is somewhat of what i'm looking for the issue I'm afraid of is that it being DVI-I ill run into the issue of going from that two vga for the projector. Also with a splitter will OSX play nicely. Meaning even though i know it will mirror displays will it still detect both. The projector runs at a lower resolution than the external monitor does

Thanks again guys and gals

my idea setup would be minidisplay to switchbox with two minidisplay outputs. Not simultaneously but either or (external DVI monitor with apple adapter) or (Epson Projector apple VGA adapter)

Pretty Much a Matrox without simultaneously utilizing 2 outputs but rather being able to select which to use like a hub.
