My apologies if there's a topic on this already... I couldn't find it. Clearly the true-tone setting on the X creates a much warmer tone to the display, and it looks a bit yellow when compared to the normal cooler settings of the stock iPhone display.

After using it for a couple of days now and allowing my eyes to adjust, I prefer it. I am wondering if the idea has to do with the "blue light" concept that doctors seem to think affects eyesight negatively. I know what the idea is behind true tone - where the white balance is adjusted for ambient lighting. I am just wondering if there might be more to it.

What are your thoughts on the true tone setting, or have you just disabled it out of hand because it looks piss yellow at first? Did you let your eyes adjust? Just wondering what others' opinions are
